If Madrid Was a Woman...

...she would be refined and patrician, exuberant, and she would have a wardrobe of amazingly crafted clothes. The buildings and public spaces of Madrid, like this imaginary woman, are often clothed in amazing detail...iron, carved stone, plaster...all sewn together by masters in an era where an extraordinary level of detail and craft was expected, affordable...and possible.
