Granada, Part 4...The Alcazaba

Located out on the farthest point of the complex, the Alcazaba is a Moorish fortress and the oldest part of the Alhambra...parts of it date back to the 9th century. Though not entirely compelling from a landscape or architectural frame of mind, the views to and from the fortress are magnificent and the gardens that were added along the way are beautiful.
