Sòller...The Tale of Two Cities

I'll just say at the onset that this wasn't our best day of this trip! The weather was cool and blustery and a series of experiences served to make us a bit testy. We learned a lot by traveling as a family. Such as: stay away from winding roads, keep Ian well fed, dress appropriately, be patient at all times. Ha!...we messed up on all of these and more on this day. like i said, you LEARN alot by traveling!

Sòller is a a good-sized town arrived at in various ways. On the day of our visit it was via the twisty mountain roads that give Cynthia the willies. Ad we ended up stuck behind one of those humongous tour buses for the last half hour...actually pretty funny to behold these behemoths navigating roads meant for horse and buggy. The town is pretty, and known for the historic train that runs between the upper part of the city and the port down below. We looked around the town a bit and then headed via train to the port. Yikes...the ten minute trip costs 5€ (about $6.50) per person each way! More on the port in another post...
